About This Treatment

Endolift: How it works, pain, and recovery

How does Endolift work?

It is a procedure where this laser is used; a fiber releases energy at the tip, and in this way, you heat the tissue, achieving skin retraction and tightening it. The heat generated also causes lipolysis to melt the fat. As you can see, the entry point is so small that stitches or sutures are not even needed.

Is the Endolift procedure painful?

One of the patients' biggest concerns is if it will hurt. Tumescent local anesthesia is used, meaning the solution is applied under the skin and acts as an "anesthetic sheet" that numbs the tissue. The laser is subsequently used, which is why it is practically painless. You will be awake during the entire procedure.

Recovery

Recovery is quick and simple, given that there is no post-operative period as such because it is not surgery. After 2-3 days, you can return to your daily routine, and the final results will be seen at 3 months, with improvement visible from the very first day post-treatment. Depending on the patient and the area, some form of support/bandage may be recommended.
